Mediterranean Chameleon with @_Greenwings tour. Not only birds on this tour!

A Mediterranean Chameleon hiding in a Tamarix during the tour for Greenwings. Other wildlife apart from 150 species of birds, included Orca, Loggerhead Turtle and Two-tailed Pasha, to name a few. Un Camaleón escondido en un Tamarix durante el tour para Greenwings. White-faced Storm Petrel at Selvagem Islands. A delight! #birding #Macaronesia

This is, admittedly, not a good picture, but I couldn’t resist to show one of the many White-faced Storm Petrels we saw at Selvagem Islands. We visited a colony of these birds at Selvagem pequena, with more than 20.000 pairs! It was fantastic to see them jumping on the water. Esta no es una buena foto, pero quería mostrar uno de los muchos paiños pechialbos que vimos en Salvajes. Visitamos la una colonia con más de 20.000 parejas de estas aves en Salvaje Pequeña. Spectacular migration of Great Shearwater near Selvagem and Canary #birding #Macaronesia

One of the most spectacular things we could see during the trip to Selvagem Islands was the migration of Great Shearwater. Hundreds passed closed to our boat, with a fast and consistent flight to the south, diverting its course only when we got close to Tenerife.
