The Strait of Gibraltar as seen from Tarifa #Spain #Landscape

This is the 6th and last picture for the ‪#‎challengeonnaturephotography‬ Thanks to Bill Eden, Chris Mills, Gorka Gorospe, Marie Travers and Juan Jose Ramos Melo for their nomination. This is a picture of the Strait of Gibraltar as seen from Tarifa. As many of you know, this is a magical place, and one I never get tired of. The Jebel Musa, one of the pillar of Hercules, is the main feature of the Strait of Gibraltar, which dominates the view with its almost 850 meters. Those who haven’t been there yet, I encourage you to do it!

Yellow-throated Toucan in #CostaRica #Birding

It’s taking forever! but this is the 6th picture for the ‪#‎challengeonnaturephotography‬ Thanks to Bill Eden, Chris Mills, Gorka Gorospe, Marie Travers and Juan Jose Ramos Melo for their nomination. This is a Yellow-throated Toucan from Costa Rica. Popularly considered gentle and kind fruit-eaters, which they are, they can also be very efficient when stealing eggs and chicks from nests. Proteins!

Mario Cater, friend and amazing cameraman from Science Vision, filming the last lights of the day in one of the most incredible landscapes in the world. Obviously, the picture doesn’t make justice to Timanfaya National Park in Lanzarote, Canary Islands.

Long-billed Vulture at Orccha #India #Vultures

I’ve been quite busy the last two weeks and haven’t been able to keep up with the ‪#‎challengeonnaturephotography‬ Thanks to Bill Eden, Chris Mills and Juanjo Ramos for the challenge. It seems like everyone I know has been already nominated and many are reluctant to take part! I will finish the challenge with 4 more pictures anyway. Here it is a pair of long-billed vultures from Orccha, India. One of my favorite places in the world. A must for vulture lovers.
