Hi everyone, this is a picture of Volcan de Fuego, an active volcano near the Atitlan Lake, Guatemala. I’m just about to fly back to Spain after a really interesting fam trip for Whitehawk in this region. Here, I had the chance to meet great people in the birding tourism business and conservation organizations. With Whitehawk focusing now in the Central American region, I believe that we will be back very soon and offering trips to this amazingly diverse country. Black-tailed Trogon #Birding #Panama @whitehawkbird

We had a productive time in Panama planning Whitehawk tours for the next two years, which include exciting destinations like Colombia, Cuba, India and Madagascar, as well as our regular tours to Belize and Panama, among others. The Black-tailed Trogon in the picture was seen with friend and colleague Edwin Campbell during a Whitehawk trip in famous Pipeline Road. Now back in Tarifa and ready for another spring migration season in the Strait of Gibraltar!
